13.06.08 — almost famous

Here’s our boy Buzz-T of Hamburg’s finest Fingerprints fame, representing all-out Hollywood style in a 31nord Legacy Sweater. The magazine is Gala Men, the german incarnation of yellow press for men. Not sure who needs something like that, but anyway.
02.06.08 — hip hop history

The people over at Switzerland’s first hiphop magazine 14k recently had a very bright idea: They scan and upload each and every issue of the magazine ever made, starting with issue 1, which came out in 1988(!).
At that time the magazine was handmade and had only 4 pages. But think about it, that was the time of Grandmaster Flash, Whodini or Mantronix. That is way back.
Thus, the whole thing is an interesting read and even better: They will continue to upload new issues every two weeks, in supercovenient pdf format. Brilliant.
14.05.08 — raum 25c
Our good friend and supergood photographer Alexander Basile has teamed up with his buddy Hannes Aurand to create Raum 25 c in Cologne, Germany.
Raum 25 c is a former flat turned gallery, where selected artists are invited to deal with the surroundings each week for the next two months. There’s a vernissage each friday at 6 pm, and in the following days the work is on display before on wednesday the gallery closes to allow preperations for the next vernissage.
More info and a documentation of the whole project (in german) can be found on their website.
See you there:

07.05.08 — New boxes

Spent some time today making new boxes to ship stuff in. Utilized our new monster paper printing machine to print them straight away. Came out pretty nice. It sure is nice to have all this stuff right at hand when you’re ready and willing to do something..
Happy unpacking for all of you!
05.05.08 — happy birthday!

Wow! We are growing old. It’s been one year already since we opened our little shop, and honestly, I can’t quite believe it has passed that fast. So far we can say it has been a success, and that not at last thanks to you, our loyal customers and supporters. So at this point, it is time to say thanks once again – you have been great!
To celebrate the occasion adequately, we have two new brands in the shop: Please welcome Peek Skateboards, a Duesseldorf based skatecompany with roots and Smallville, which is the t-shirt line of Hamburg’s finest record store & label, designed by none other than Stefan Marks and printed on shirts of his very own Lousy Livin Company imprint. Definitely nice stuff there!
Everything will be available online as well, just keep checking back. Meanwhile raise your glasses and propose a toast for one year of Paristokyopempelfort. Cheers.
22.04.08 — sub-tle's album is out - finally

Our friends from the great electronic music formation Sub-tle finally released their album on Onpa music. Yay!
For those of you who wonder what this post is doing here, let me remind you: Sub-tle were generous enough to do a really great live show at our shop opening last year which we really enjoyed, so it’s only natural to give something back. And as far as the album goes, let me say it in Klaus Dinger’s (of Kraftwerk & Neu!) words: “I’m totally convinced of their huge potential and their unique capabilities..” So are we.
13.01.08 — blanket benefit: ptp's on a charity mission.
